The open main level features vaulted ceilings, sun-filled windows, and a warm gas fireplace. The granite-topped kitchen invites conversation over coffee or dinner after a day exploring the region.
The Perch
Step onto the covered deck – the home’s namesake perch – for sweeping views of Crystal Lake. Sink into lounge seating by the gas fire pit as the evening sky glows amber and rose. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or stargazing on crisp fall nights.
Outdoor Dining & Cooking
Two gas grills (standard and Blackstone) are available for guest use near the garage, making it easy to grill dinner or flip pancakes on a summer morning. A wagon and yard games are provided for beach trips and family fun.

Amenities
Paul was extremely responsive to questions during our stay. He generally responded within 10 minutes. The deck is the highlight and provided great sunsets after dinner. Many amenities in the garage for guests. Beds very comfortable and plenty of towel, linens, etc. Great spot in Beulah, very close to all the town has to offer.
If you find yourself in Beulah ( and you should definitely go visit this area!) stay here! It was the perfect home for our stay. The home was clean, and in a great location. Paul was quick to respond with answers to our questions.
My favorite space to relax was on the porch just off the spacious kitchen.
We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Perch! The house was welcoming and clean with a beautiful view of the lake. They provided everything we needed and more! We especially enjoyed spending time on the covered porch that included comfortable seating and an outdoor, gas fireplace for cooler nights. For beach days, they had a wagon, beach chairs and some beach towels to use, which was very helpful. One of our favorite breakfast/coffee spots was Ursa Major-just a short walk into town. Plenty to do in the area and not too far a drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Crystal lake is also incredibly clear and beautiful! Thank you for a great vacation!
My family of 6 and my parents all just stayed at the rental for five days. It was one of the most completely stocked Airbnb’s I’ve ever rented….and I’ve stayed at a lot! The place was very clean, in a great location and had everything we needed! It’s walkable to the restaurants, shops, beach and pickleball. The wi-fi was great for remote work meetings. We appreciated the deck with all its furnishings to sit out and watch the lake, even during the rainy times. The nice big table and chairs out there was a perfect spot to play cards. The host provided beach chairs, a wagon, pickleball paddles, corn hole, beach towels, and quite a few more games that I’m forgetting. There was a drink fridge that was stocked with some colas, plenty of coffee and tea choices, as well as necessary spices. They supplied dish and hand soap, dishwasher and laundry pods. The host has provided most conveniences you’d need! The beds and linens were comfy too.
