Thank you so much for the most magical family holiday we could have imagined. The setting of the house was as described paradise, and we were so sad to leave. Despite staying in some lovely hotels after our stay at Platte Lake we all wished we had stayed in this beautiful home for longer and are already discussing when we shall return.
Paul was an exceptional host with instant communication, always helpful if we had any queries.
The house hosted our family of 11, with six adults and five children ranging 3,5,8,10 and 11 and it was a perfect size for us. The kitchen had everything we need to host our big family suppers. The lake amenities were brilliant, from a box of toys by the beautiful beach for the younger boys to the numerous kayaks and a perfect spot on the jetty to watch the sun go down.
Particularly spectacular was the sunrise, the colours of the sky were unreal.
Great location, lovely and very responsive host. Perfect lake house with young kids — small private beach with toys, canoes and a paddle, bunk bed rooms and fire pits for smores. Highly recommend.
