Inside, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living spaces, central air, Roku TVs, high-speed internet, books, board games, and two indoor gas fireplaces. The home sleeps up to 8 guests and works well for families or small groups looking for a true lakefront getaway near some of the best scenery and recreation in Northern Michigan.
From here, it’s easy to spend your days hiking Sleeping Bear, tubing the Platte River, visiting Glen Arbor and Frankfort, biking nearby trails, or simply enjoying long lake days and unforgettable sunsets right at home.
Amenities
We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. Our family had a lot of fun paddle boarding and canoeing every day, and the lake was especially lovely in the late afternoons when the sun was out.
The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. Paul was incredibly responsive and kind, there were a couple of times we needed guidance, and he called right away to make sure we had what we needed. The owners were also so thoughtful; they stopped by with mementos and gifts, which was such a kind touch.
Our son loved it, and so did the whole family. It is a very beautiful area.
Our family loved this beautiful home and the peaceful setting right on Platte Lake. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards, appreciating our time on the water.
We loved the close proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Riverside Canoes, golf, and multiple fun little towns in northwest Michigan.
The kitchen is well appointed with everything needed to cook full meals and enjoy them inside or out with amazing views.
The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough excellent towels for all the guests.
Paul was extremely helpful and immediately responsive. Our family hopes to come back here again!
